Is it possible for me to become a writer?

Hello everyone
I am from India and I have always inspired to become a writer.Not novels sort of,but to write self-improvement related books.I have been striving hard to improve my English.My doubts are:

1.As I am a non-native speaker of English,I am not sure whether I can write like a native speaker.I have observed native people’s writing and realized that I had to go a long way.Is it possible to improve my skill level so as to match or as closely imitate as possible like native speaker? What should I do?

2.Any other tips you’d like to give me?

First of all if u r Still staying in India better make it as regular habit of going to Libraries /reading dif types of books n gain knowledge.
Then only u can start writing books /speeches for Politicians etc.,
Even u can write stories for Film Industry.
